Greater Des Moines Noon Chapter received an overwhelming number of applications
for the $2000 Special scholarship. We are no longer accepting applications for
the scholarship. The application process begins in mid-January each year. Please
check back next year for the 2011 application or check.

National Scholarships
Annually the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund offers three graduate
level scholarships. These include the $10,000 Hilary A. Bufton, Jr.
Scholarship and $10,000 Ruth H. Bufton Scholarship (which are awarded
in alternating years), the Glorine Tuohey Memorial Scholarship and the
President's Scholarship. This year the Hilary A. Bufton, Jr. Scholarship
will be offered. Other awards, such as the 2009 Patricia Malone Memorial
Scholarship, are offered as funds become available. The 2010 fields of
study will include: Finance, Nursing and
Computer Science.

Description: Awarded annually, The Glorine Tuohey Memorial Scholarship
commemorates the outstanding dedication and professional expertise Glorine
provided to the American Business Women's Association.

Description: In recognition of the American Business Women's Association's
20th anniversary in 1969, the trustees created the President's National
